Ashtray's Journey: From Smoke-Filled Nights to New Beginnings

Ashtray was just a regular old ashtray, living in a small apartment with his best friend, a pack of cigarettes named Smokey. They spent their days lounging around the apartment, getting high and watching TV. It was a simple life, but Ashtray was content with it.

One day, as he was sitting on the coffee table, a group of partygoers walked into the apartment. They were loud and rowdy, and Ashtray could feel the vibrations of their music through the floor. Smokey began to fidget nervously, worrying that they would knock him over.

"Don't worry, buddy," Ashtray said calmly. "They won't bother us. They just want to have a good time."

But as the night wore on, the partygoers became more and more rowdy. They started stumbling around the apartment, bumping into things and spilling drinks. Smokey began to panic, and Ashtray could feel his anxiety radiating off of him.

Suddenly, one of the partygoers knocked over Ashtray, sending him crashing to the floor. Smokey was left alone, tumbling out of the ashtray and rolling around on the ground. Ashtray tried to pick himself up, but his legs were wobbly and he kept falling over.

Just when it seemed like things couldn't get any worse, one of the partygoers stepped on Smokey, crushing him beneath their foot. Ashtray watched in horror as his best friend was squashed flat.

"No!" he cried out in dismay. "Smokey! Oh no!"

But it was too late. Smokey was gone, crushed beyond recognition. Ashtray was left alone and adrift, unsure of what to do next. He lay there on the floor, feeling lost and empty.

As the partygoers continued to rage on, Ashtray couldn't help but feel resentful towards them. How could they be so careless and thoughtless? Didn't they realize the harm they were causing?

But as the night wore on, Ashtray began to see things from a different perspective. He realized that the partygoers were just trying to have fun, even if they didn't always do it in the most considerate way. And he knew that he couldn't hold grudges against them forever.

So, with a heavy heart, Ashtray picked himself up and began to clean up the mess that had been made. He swept up the broken pieces of Smokey and put them back into their proper place. It was a difficult task, but he knew it was important to move on and start fresh.

As the sun began to rise, the partygoers finally left, leaving Ashtray alone once again. But this time, he felt different. He felt stronger, more resilient. He knew that he couldn't control what happened outside of himself, but he could control how he responded to it.

And so, Ashtray continued to live his life, one day at a time. He knew that there would be ups and downs, but he was ready for whatever came his way. Because in the end, it was all just a part of the journey.
