Escape from Alcatraz: A Night of Revenge
It was a dark and stormy night, the kind that only seemed to come to San Francisco. The city was shrouded in a thick fog, the kind that made it difficult to see more than a few feet ahead. But despite the weather, the prison on Alcatraz Island was bustling with activity.
The year was 1962, and the island was home to some of the most notorious criminals in the country. There was Al Capone, the infamous gangster who had ruled Chicago's underworld with an iron fist. There was George "Machine Gun" Kelly, a bank robber known for his ruthless tactics and his ability to evade capture. And there was Robert Stroud, the Birdman of Alcatraz, who had spent decades in solitary confinement after being convicted of murder.
Despite their crimes, the prisoners on Alcatraz were surprisingly well-behaved. The guards were strict, but fair, and they kept a close eye on the prisoners at all times. The prisoners had their own routines and rituals, and they passed the time by playing games, reading books, and working out in the prison yard.
But one night, something strange happened. A guard patrolling the perimeter of the island heard a faint noise coming from the east side of the prison. He investigated, but found nothing out of the ordinary. But then, he heard it again - a low rumbling sound that seemed to be getting louder.
The guard radioed for backup, and soon, a team of guards was sent to investigate. They searched the prison and the island, but found nothing. Frustrated, they returned to their posts, still unsure of what had caused the strange noise.
As the night wore on, the noise grew louder and more frequent. It sounded like something was moving around inside the prison walls. The guards were confused and scared - what could be causing such a strange occurrence?
Suddenly, the lights in the prison flickered and went out. The guards were plunged into darkness, and they couldn't see a thing. They heard footsteps echoing through the empty corridors, and they knew something was wrong.
Then, a voice spoke - a low, menacing voice that seemed to come from everywhere and nowhere at the same time. "You should have never come here," it said. "Now you'll never leave."
The guards were terrified - what was happening? Were they being attacked by one of the prisoners? They tried to call for help, but their radios were dead. They were completely alone and defenseless.
Suddenly, the lights flickered back on, and the guards saw something that made their blood run cold. The east wall of the prison was cracking, and a section of it was collapsing inwards. The prisoners were breaking free, and they were coming for the guards.
The guards fled in terror, but they knew they couldn't escape. They were trapped on the island with the prisoners, who were now determined to take revenge on their captors. The guards fought bravely, but they were no match for the angry and desperate criminals.
One by one, the guards fell to the ground, their screams silenced by the darkness. And then, there was only one left - the Birdman of Alcatraz himself. Stroud was the last man standing, and he knew he had to escape before it was too late.
He fought his way past the collapsing wall, using all of his strength and cunning to make it out alive. When he finally reached the shore, he collapsed, exhausted but triumphant. He had escaped Alcatraz, and he would never be caught again.
The next morning, the authorities discovered the bodies of the guards and the prisoners. The island was in chaos, and no one knew what had happened in the night. But one thing was certain - Alcatraz was off-limits forevermore. The prison had claimed another victim, and it would never let anyone else escape again.
